CALL FOR PAPERS HAS NOW CLOSED

Health Libraries Australia (HLA) will hold a professional development day in Sydney on 10 July 2012 in conjunction with the ALIA Biennial conference.

The theme of the event is Speaking Systematics - Primer on Systematic Reviews for Health Librarians. The program will cover topics relating to health librarians' involvement in systematic reviews. The HLA executive is calling for papers on all aspects of the systematic review process including: expert searching, managing research team expectations, quantitative and qualitiative systematic reviews, reference management, systematic review methodology, writing up reviews, etc.

There will also be opportunity in the program for presentations showcasing recent developments and innovative solutions in health libraries. If you or your team has run successful projects, started new services or implemented new technologies, please consider sharing your experiences with your colleagues.

Structured abstracts (Introduction, Methods, Outcomes, Conclusions) of no more than 350 words should be forwarded to Suzanne Lewis, HLA Convenor (slewis@nsccahs.health.nsw.gov.au), together with your contact details, by Friday 30 March 2012.
